Hewlett Packard Enterprise also known as HPE recently acquired Zerto, a cloud data management, and protection platform, to expand HPE GreenLake. The following acquisition that occurred under a definitive agreement will further deliver on HPE Storage’s shift to a cloud-native, software-defined data services business.

The combination of technology, cloud operation, and market-driven capabilities between HPE and Zerto will simplify the process of cloud data management and protection for customers’ edge-to-cloud strategy. Through this partnership, Zerto will add talent and technology to HPE’s cloud data services and vice versa HPE distribution and installed base will improve Zerto’s Scale.

Zerto’s Zerto IT Resilience Platform delivers disaster recovery, backup, and workload mobility software for virtualized infrastructures and cloud environments.
