Ocient, a leading hyperscale data analytics company delivering analytics and machine learning capabilities to governments, state/local governments, and higher education organizations worldwide, announced it has partnered with Carahsoft Technology Corp., A Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider, to provide federal, state/local governments and higher education with hyperscale data warehouse, analytics, and machine learning.
As the government distributor for Ocient, Carahsoft will leverage its reseller partner network, including NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V, Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software 2 (ITES-SW2), and OMNIA Partners, one of the nation’s largest cooperative purchasing organization.
As a result of the partnership between Ocient and Carahsoft, U.S. government agencies can now modernize their analytics and data platforms and improve digital transformation, as well as reducing costs at the same time. Ocient’s end-to-end data analytics solutions are based on its Hyperscale Data Warehouse, which enables organizations to rapidly leverage an ever-increasing volume of data from disparate sources and execute operational workloads previously infeasible on a real-time basis.
Chris Gladwin, co-founder, and CEO, Ocient, said, “Ocient is thrilled to partner with Carahsoft to provide instant insights from hyperscale data sets to satisfy the complex, big-data requirements within the U.S. government. We look forward to also partnering with our customers and reseller and integrator partners to help them derive more value from data and improve their operations and service to citizens.”
Michael Adams, director of Carahsoft’s AI/ML Solutions Portfolio, said, “As the pace of AI development continues to increase, the government must adapt and respond to the adoption of the new technologies. The addition of Ocient aligns seamlessly with Carahsoft’s comprehensive AI and machine learning solutions portfolio by providing government agencies with advanced hyperscale data analytics solutions to modernize their technology infrastructure. We look forward to working with Ocient and our resellers to help agencies achieve their objectives for analytics and digital transformation.”
With Ocient’s hyperscale data analytics solutions, multiple workloads can be consolidated on a single platform for maximum efficiency and security, whether on-premises, in the cloud, or as managed services in the OcientCloud. The company offers training and assistance to government customers wishing to gain real-time insights from hyperscale data sets.
As part of the partnership, Ocient is launching a program for government early adopters. In addition to training and enablement on the Ocient Hyperscale Data Warehouse, early adopters will also receive pricing incentives that will enable them to immediately begin accelerating their analytics and insights.
