AppSwarm, a software development company, and an aggregator of mobile apps announced it was selected to develop health analytics and support artificial intelligence (AI) training for wearable technology company GTX Corp.
A health data analytics program uses AI to make sense of long-term datasets comprising the health data of users through long-term dataset development. Clinical data analytics involves analyzing sets of patient data, typically obtained from wearable devices.
Chris Bailey, the CEO of AppSwarm, stated, “We are very excited at the idea of utilizing artificial intelligence and wearable data to help people live better and even possibly longer lives. Through predictive analytics, users will be able to find the best course of action for health on an individual basis. Developing personalized health data will assist users in avoiding some of the more common causes of metabolic diseases and help increase the quality-of-life for individuals, and society.”
Through the AI-powered platform, users will be able to detect potentially harmful trends that can then be defeated with lifestyle changes to prevent the onset of common metabolic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. The platform will then enable users to monitor trends using wearable devices, such as smartwatches.
There are a number of different types of wearables such as ones for the head, feet, eyes, and wrist. A wearable device can track steps taken, food and water consumed, calories burned, and sleep movements.
The TulsaLabs team has developed cloud-based analytics that uses data from wearable devices and sensors so that long-term datasets can be collected and analyzed for long-term health monitoring and analysis. By using the Artificial Intelligence platform, users will be able to identify potential trends that can then be offset with lifestyle changes to prevent metabolic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and obesity from occurring.
Patrick Bertagna, the CEO of GTX Corp, commented, “One thing COVID has brought to the forefront is how important health is to our longevity, so combining A.I. with wearables will greatly enhance our ability to develop and bring to market powerful health and wellness solutions. We look forward to working with Chris’s team and having them join the longevity revolution with us.”
