Health tech startup DeepTek has unveiled DeepSpine, an AI-powered tool for analyzing MRI lumbar spine images, as part of its Radiology AI space. An official launch of the tool was held in Chicago during the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).
In DeepSpine, AI-powered quantification and analysis tools are offered for lumbar spine MRI studies and can help radiologists, technologists, orthopedic surgeons, and physiologists to obtain objective automated quantification and other documents for the lumbar spine, thus improving radiology reports and reducing radiology workload.
Dr Amit Kharat – Radiologist and Co-Founder, DeepTek said, “The lumbar spine MRI quantification and metrics tool can derive metrics from MRI studies such as Vertebral Body Heights, Disc Bulge Classification, Foraminal Stenosis, Listhesis, Canal Stenosis and various spine angles. This can help get deep insights in treatment planning and progress monitoring. The tool can be a great value add to the ecosystem of health care workers managing low back pain”.
