Accenture has recently announced to acquire – BRIDGEi2i, an artificial intelligence (AI) and analytics firm with headquarters in Bangalore, and offices in the US and Australia. As a result of the acquisition, Accenture will have increased its global capabilities in data science, machine learning, and AI-powered insights, adding more than 800 deeply skilled professionals. Financial details surrounding the transaction have not yet been announced.

Accenture research shows that companies investing in AI and cloud technologies are able to grow revenue at a five-fold rate compared with those not doing so.
