BambooHR has announced the addition of a customized COVID-19 page to enable HR and business leaders to track and manage employee vaccination status.

While the process remains challenging and the end result is still to be determined, we aim to provide support to our customers as they implement their policies. Our goal has always been to be a strong partner to our customers, however, they choose to manage this situation.”
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recently released an emergency temporary standard (ETS) that requires organizations with 100 or more employees to mandate immunizations or provide the option of periodic COVID-19 testing.
The first step in knowing and assuring compliance is to keep track of employee immunization status. In addition to the ETS, some employers are opting to demand or at the very find it difficult to understand their employees’ immunization status. Customers can use BambooHR’s feature to track vaccinations and create bespoke reports, as well as set up time off policies for vaccinations.
However, even though the ETS is currently being contested in court, experts recommend firms prepare for the regulation and work toward compliance. This is because the outcome will not be affected by legal challenges. Employers must implement a vaccination or vaccination/testing policy, determine each employee’s vaccination status, and implement a paid time off program for immunizations if the ETS is implemented.
Customers of BambooHR can choose whether or not to enable the new COVID-19 tab, depending on their needs. Customers can track their vaccination status, the vaccine they got, the date of the final dose, and whether or not evidence of vaccination has been submitted using this tab. This information can then be simply compiled into customized reports.
