Customers will be able to purchase RealWear HMT-1 and HMT-1Z1 headsets from 3 HTi. For Connected Worker programs, RealWear’s HMT-1 and HMT-1Z1 provide the foundation. The rugged helmet-mounted device can be mounted to helmets or bump caps and can be used with safety glasses or corrective eyewear in wet, dusty, hot, dangerous, and noisy industrial environments. Wearers of the device will view a high-resolution microdisplay mounted just below their line of sight as if it were a 7″ tablet. This is an industrial dashboard: there when you need it, out of the way when not needed.
Users can also access PTC’s Vuforia suite of enterprise Augmented Reality software with the viewers, which is designed to work hands-free with voice commands. It’s all voice commands as opposed to scrolling, swiping, or tapping. RealWear can serve as a resource for mentoring video conferencing, document navigation, workflow guides, mobile forms, and data visualization.
