Eversource signs a mobile communication agreement with LINK Mobility (LINK) that will provide them with critical notifications. Electricity, gas, and water are provided by Eversource in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.
Bill Joiner, Managing Director at Message Broadcast, said, “We are very pleased that Eversource has chosen Message Broadcast and LINK as a partner to provide critical mobile communications. We remain confident that this collaboration will enhance Eversource’s interaction with their customers.”
Eversource will receive LINK’s Enterprise Omnichannel Notification System (EONS), which was developed by Message Broadcast, a fully integrated subsidiary of LINK. EON provides a single platform for customers to design, deploy, and manage critical event customer interactions.
Penni McLean-Conner, EVP Customer Experience & Energy Strategy at Eversource, said, “Our partnership with Message Broadcast and LINK will bring direct communication benefits to our customers and streamline our compliance for critical messaging.”
During critical times such as power outages due to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or environmental constraints, the system delivers highly reliable communication to utility consumers. If utilities fail to comply with regulations, they will face huge fines. The patented EONS platform’s distinctiveness and scalability contribute to significant EBITDA margins.
