Simatree, a strategic advisory firm specializing in data, analytics, technology consultation, and digital transformation, has been acquired by Galway Holdings. Simatree, created by Patrick McCreesh, Wes Flores, and Jay Williams, a former NBA player, and current television analyst, has won several honors for its creative and disruptive digital and analytics solutions.
Patrick McCreesh, said, “I’m looking forward to continued success as part of Galway Holdings. The relationship with Galway continues to provide deep expertise in financial services and insurance that allow us to build better solutions for the market.”
Simatree will also be able to explore innovative development opportunities thanks to funds from Galway, a private equity firm. Galway’s recent acquisition of MAI Capital Management is a good match for Simatree.
John Hahn, Executive Chairman of Galway Holdings, said, “We couldn’t be more excited to move forward with Patrick and the Simatree team with an aligned vision and mission to provide differentiated product and service offerings to our clients, carrier partners, and strategic distribution relationships.”
Simatree will provide value to Galway Holdings’ businesses by creating and implementing transformative programs to modernize the insurance and wealth management industries and meet the growing demand for change. As they pursue internal/external ecosystem business and digital transformation activities, Simatree will continue to collaborate with Derek Thomas (President of Galway Strategic Solutions) and the Galway Strategic Solutions team. The EPIC small to medium enterprise and personal lines portfolio is now being digitized as part of current collaboration efforts.
