Gong, a revenue intelligence platform with artificial intelligence (AI) that transforms revenue teams, announced the general availability of its Gong app for Zoom. The Gong app boosts the productivity of salespeople using Zoom meetings with enhanced capabilities. Zoom admins must enable the application for their organizations in order to access the new Gong app.

Chief Product Officer of Gong, Eilon Reshef, said, “The new Gong app takes two tools that sales pros find invaluable today – Gong and Zoom – and makes them even more useful. We’re enabling revenue professionals to stay engaged in customer conversations by plugging into their daily workflow.”

With the new application, Zoom, a leading video conferencing provider, can more closely integrate with Gong’s powerful revenue intelligence. This app is now available in Zoom App Marketplace, which hosts over 1400 third-party integrations through which Zoom’s industry-leading video communication platform can be further enhanced.

By enabling real-time collaboration and note-taking in Zoom meetings, the Gong app solves this problem and more. As well as timestamping the relevant notes, the app also timestamps relevant parts of the call. They can also tag colleagues, notifying them with a link to the part of the meeting they need to give feedback on. The information is compiled within Gong, which analyzes this and other data to provide insight into how to improve customer interactions.

Zoom Apps provide seamless functionality within Zoom, allowing users to use preferred apps during, before, and after meetings. With file sharing, project management, whiteboarding, and more, it boosts meeting productivity. With Zoom Apps, meeting participants are able to execute in real-time and get more out of meetings by collaborating and collaborating in real-time.
