MTS AI Center, the international artificial intelligence (AI) subsidiary of Russia’s largest telecom operator, recently announced the new establishment of a $100 million AI fund and global accelerator program to drive AI innovations in emerging markets, including Asia, Europe, and North America.

Intelligent Machines will invest and support AI start-ups with the smart money, including funding, deep business expertise, computing power, and networking, leveraging the competencies and stability of MTS, an established multinational company with expertise in telecoms, cloud technology, Big Data, and AI.
In order to find projects that are related to natural language processing (NLP), edge computing, behavioral and predictive analytics, building digital twins, image recognition, and warehouse optimization, and using artificial intelligence to improve energy efficiency will be the focus of the MTS AI Center accelerator program and venture capital fund.
