The necessity to sustain stateful processes and data access during substantial upgrades has been one of the most difficult difficulties of large-scale distributed file platforms. The solution was scheduled downtime, which had an impact on revenue and end-user happiness. With this version, Qumulo delivers non-disruptive, substantial upgrades to its Network File Storage (NFS) clients in only a few clicks. Non-disruptive updates imply no revenue loss, no time wasted restarting programs and no inconvenience to end-users or the company.
