Robotic Assistance Devices (RAD) Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology Solutions, Inc., has received an order from a leading regional financial institution. A confidentiality agreement prevents RAD from disclosing the end-user of this ROSA180 unit, which will mark its first deployment in the financial services industry.
Steve Reinharz, CEO of AITX and RAD, said, “It’s thrilling to open new markets, especially since we see so much potential for a significant number of deployments in this industry. This ROSA180 deployment opens up a new vertical market that is desperately in need of the solutions RAD provides. We’ll build on this win, and I’m excited to see this industry’s response when ROSA3.0 is revealed on October 13.”
During the 15-minute deployment timeframe, ROSA180 is a self-sufficient, compact, and self-contained solution for security and communication. The RAD solution does not require anything but power because it comes with the necessary communication hardware. In addition to human and vehicle detection, license plate recognition, responsive digital signage, and audio messaging, ROSS180’s AI-driven security analytics are fully integrated with RAD’s notification and response system. ROSA180 features two high-resolution, full-color, always-on cameras, as well as two-way communications optimized for mobile.
Robotic Assistance Devices (RAD) develops robotics and artificial intelligence-based solutions that help companies gain new insight, solve complex security challenges, and come up with new business ideas in a cost-effective manner. The board design and the base code for RAD’s advanced security robot were developed from the ground up. All security robots from SCOT to ROSA180, Wally to Wally HSO, and AVA to ROAMEO can be designed, written, performed, and experienced by RAD, and this allows RAD to control the design elements, performance, quality, and user experience.
