Rubrik, a leader in Zero Trust Data Management, announced a strategic alliance with Microsoft that includes business development and co-engineering activities for the delivery of integrated Zero Trust data protection solutions built on Microsoft Azure. Ransomware attacks, which have risen 150% annually, are a growing threat to customers. This work will protect them from these attacks. Microsoft Azure and Rubrik’s partnership will offer data protection services on Microsoft 365 and hybrid clouds.

Rubrik is addressing enterprise data challenges including ransomware recovery, data automation, and data migration. Rubrik and Microsoft have partnered to bring Zero Trust data protection to hybrid cloud environments spanning data center, edge, and cloud, including Microsoft 365.
The Rubrik data management platform was designed from the start for cloud computing. This collaboration ensures customers and partners are protected from malicious attacks, ransomware attacks, accidental deletions, and corruption of vital Microsoft 365 information. In addition, Rubrik provides additional support for Microsoft 365, including policy-based management and instant search and restore. Furthermore, Rubrik and Microsoft provide long-term archiving of Microsoft 365 data in order to comply with regulatory requirements.
