The Slovak Fortuna Liga has announced that Stats Perform, a leader in sports technology and analytics, will serve as the league’s Official Data Partner for three years. In addition to the new agreement, Stats Perform has already been associated with Slovakian football since 2019. The company has also been Slovak football’s official betting data partner since 2019. Stats Perform will manage Opta data for top-tier Fortuna League matches until summer 2024 under the deal.

Providing a single, consistent dataset to each club will provide their creative media departments with a wide range of new opportunities to enhance digital engagement with fans, whilst Markíza, Slovakia will be able to share tactical insights with viewers in real-time. By powering our entire digital landscape, Stats Perform will be able to help us bring our fans closer to the action than ever before once 2021/22 gets underway.”
Fortuna Liga will use Opta data on its official channels to gain insights into expectations goals, defensive coverage, and possession. All 12 top-flight clubs will be able to use the feed on their own websites and on the digital platforms of the league’s broadcast partner, Markiza – Slovakia. A live stream will also be available to fans of Markiza – Slovakia through Opta Widgets, enhancing engagement by revealing key performance insights to fans through interactive heat maps, chalkboards, and pass matrixes.
In addition, club staff will also receive support from a professional perspective with access to Stats Perform’s ProPortal for coaches, analysts, and performance analysts. During every league match, each club will have access to a live stream of performance insights via ProPortal, providing information that will support in-game decisions.
