A global sports tech leader in data and artificial intelligence (AI) Technology, Stats Perform, has revealed in an announcement that they had agreed to make an extended partnership with K-Sport – will be a part of Stats Perform’s SPIN network for four years. Both companies formed the partnership in earlier 2015, to provide player wearable solutions to teams across professional football and rugby.

Ben Mackriell, Stats Perform VP for Data, AI & Pro Products, said: “K-Sport has been a valued partner of the Stats Perform SPIN community for a long time and we are looking forward to seeing the benefits of this collaboration continue. In the years ahead, we will be combining our respective knowledge and expertise to develop new solutions, derived from AI, which can help our Pro clients further optimize their daily monitoring of each player’s physical performance, both on the training ground and during matches.”

Through the extended partnership, Stats Perform will act as the exclusive sales agent for K-Sport systems in Europe, including its next-generation K-AI Wearable Tech and Dynamix, its athlete monitoring software. As part of the collaboration, both parties will work together to develop and enhance existing wearable solutions, including integrating optical tracking data from Stats Perform’s SportVU system into a new Dynamix Live platform.

K-Sport Founder and CEO Mirko Marcolini said: “I am very pleased to be continuing this collaboration with Stats Perform. Stats Perform combines advanced AI technologies, which are fully compatible with K-Sport systems, with an extensive global sports business network. This makes them the best partner we could ever hope for. There are also a number of exciting future opportunities to further evolve our integrated solutions and I am looking forward to working together with them for the next four years.”

Fitness coaches can monitor player load during training sessions and matches with the KAI Wearable Tech and Dynamix software, facilitating intervention when required. The software allows coaches to tailor formulas, thresholds, and metrics to their preferred analysis methods, as well as fully customizable acute/chronic workload analysis, which mitigates injury risk. Users can use it on either Windows or Mac.
