Talend, the California, US-based organization, announced the inclusion of new certification for Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) on the Public Cloud, as well as CDP data services like Data Hub and Data Engineering, today by, a world leader in data integration and management. It has been examined, verified, and approved for use with CDP as a Cloudera Connect Certified Technology. By providing analytics in a modern, optimized cloud environment, the company gives Cloudera customers the flexibility to manage data more effectively and efficiently between on-premises and the cloud, maximizing the value of their data.
Talend now introduces native connectors with CDP Data Engineering, a serverless solution that enables data teams to submit Spark operations to an auto-scaling service, in addition to the new certifications. By doing this, the expensive tasks of managing, setting up, and scaling clusters are eliminated. Due to the ability to spend more time on application development and less time on infrastructure, this connection with Data Engineering results in increased agility and productivity.
Rolf Heimes, Global Head of Business Development at Talend, stated, “Our extended collaboration with Cloudera continues to focus on the needs of organizations looking to achieve maximum value from their data. With our combined technologies, we’ve created healthy data availability across public and private cloud environments to give Cloudera customers a clear path to the cloud, along with managed scale and compute performance to support complex data needs.”
The management of healthy data processing is challenging for teams due to the high volumes of data present across cloud systems. Businesses now have a single solution for all their data management requirements, including batch, streaming, real-time data integration, data quality, and IoT, both in the cloud and on-premises, thanks to the combination of Talend and Cloudera technology. Customers of Cloudera now have a clear roadmap for cloud migration and a lift and shift strategy thanks to Talend’s new certifications and integration.
