A global leader in caller ID, spam blocking software, research around call and SMS harassment, Truecaller, has announced a collaborative venture partnership with Tanla Platforms Limited. The Truecaller Business Messaging platform will be based on the Wisely platform from Tanla. During the first year, the estimated volume of instant messages delivered is expected to reach 1 billion.

This association between Truecaller and Tanla intends to encourage businesses to expand their active user base which is more than 300 million for rich media and engaging content with related business messages. These messages may contain images, video, location pins, and documents, simultaneously providing faster deliveries, lower costs and improved analytics.

Users will be able to communicate one way and two ways via a powerful user interface with features such as hyperlinks, phone numbers, and delivery & read receipts. A cloud-based solution providing easy scalability is also available.
