A partnership between the leading video, texting, and engagement company, TruVideo, and an AI-powered customer data and engagement platform for the automotive industry, Outsell, was announced to launch a new communication channel to dealerships across the United States. With this partnership, dealerships can communicate with customers by text, making it easier and faster to schedule appointments and provide information about sales and services.

Outsell dealerships will now be able to use TruVideo’s smart lines to send text messages and videos when they will make the greatest impact on dealers. In contrast to standard messaging tools, TruVideo’s smart lines allow users to send video links, analyze the words and phrases used in a text, and respond immediately to customers. Additionally, customer engagement data creates new data sets that drive Outsell AI to better understand customer intent.

Under this agreement, Outsell AI identifies opportunities for text message outreach via TruVideo, based on dealership first-party data categorized by lifecycle stages and interests. Dealers can conduct one-on-one conversations with consumers who express interest and progress them through the sales or service funnel if they respond positively. Lease-end, positive equity, buyer identification, service-due reminders, and other functions are available for full-lifecycle outreach, with possibilities for both sales and service campaigns.
