Upland Software has released Altify Sales Reference Manager, an application built on the Salesforce platform specifically for B2B sellers. Upland customers can greatly increase the pool of relevant references within Salesforce as a result of Sales Reference Manager, resulting in an increase in deal velocity and win rates.

By providing targeted reference account suggestions directly in Salesforce opportunity records, the Sales Reference Manager eliminates the need for sellers to hunt for contact information. Reference requests are then routed to the relationship owners who know their accounts best for approval. With Upland’s newest addition, Salesforce opportunities are also matched first with reference accounts and then with contacts. Accounts remain referenceable even if individual contacts change roles or companies.
