Global business process management (BPM) service provider WNS Limited completes the purchase of enterprise automation service firm, Vuram. Vuram combines low-code software applications and intelligent automation platforms to align, automate, and optimize business processes to accelerate digital transformation. The transaction’s consideration, which includes the upfront payment and anticipated earn-outs excluding changes for cash, debt, and working capital, is estimated to be $165.0 million.

Vuram is able to achieve end-to-end business automation and the development of unique, scalable BPM solutions by integrating these technologies into core business activities. The new technology integration enables to leverage optical character recognition (OCR) and artificial intelligence (AI)-based document processing tools to extract, collect and categorize data. WNS will be able to enhance its decision-making capabilities through advanced analytics and can also develop rule-based processing engines and machine learning (ML)-based augmentation. Additionally, Vuram has produced industry-specific solutions for the banking and financial Services, insurance, and healthcare sectors as well as adaptable, low-code, “plug and play” solutions for front, middle, and back-office operations.
